Don't know why I put yesterday as day 5 but phase 2 is the low cal phase and I am on day 4 of that...

Anyway, I'm doing ok on the diet. Haven't cheated but it's been really hard! I still am hoping it is due to not enough fat on my gorge days, in which case it will pass. The hunger is bad in the morning and sometimes at night b4 I go to bed. I'm ok when I eat my meal, I am satisfied for awhile, but when the hunger hits, and it's not time to eat yet, grrr.

I made myself a steak last night with my lil mini contact grill, and OMG it was awful!

I have a date tomorrow night with my BFF Leanne and we're going to Outback Steakhouse, I am going to have a steak and salad and I know that steak is gonna be AWESOME! We're also gonna go to the movies, where I will not need to have anything, but I may have to order water or tea to drink just to have something to do with my hands while I'm there! Might take some cinnamon apples with me, just incase I need to munch, but if we eat 1st I should be fine.

OK so today I had some grilled chicken on a lettuce salad with some sweet and tangy mustard dressing I made, it was really good! I also added my grisini breadsticks to the salad I really like that cuz it's almost like croutons. I am going to use some precooked gound beef and cabbage to make a sort of chili tonight. Not sure how it will be, but so far, when I make cabbage, it takes on whatever flavor you put in it. I figured if I do it right it oughta be good!!

OK gonna go watch Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares!!

Well this has been cool! I mean I am feeling hungry in the morning, course I gotta get up at 5:30 so that sux! But I have not cheated. I feel great that I'm back down to my lowest HCG weight! I am so excited about getting back to the old me again! I really like my energy and I am already seeing that change in me. I am awake from 5:30 am till night when I go to bed. I went to bed before 11 PM last night! That hasn't happened in awhile!! Now I am awake and feel pretty charged and ready for the day. Gonna have me some coffee, shower, brush my teeth and go to Wal-Mart! I wanna buy a new brush for the cat. He got fleas and I sprayed him the other day now I wanna brush out his fur and the brush I have doesn't seem to get to his skin under the thick underfur...

ANYWAY! Ok I am rambling now, I gotta go...

Well I pigged out as best I could this weekend but it was hard cuz I just really didn't want to eat that much! I should have packed on more weight but oh well guess we are gonna see how I feel this week! Hopefully it wont be too bad!

My last HCG weight before was either 218 or 216 depending on which I chose to look at LOL If you remember I had some problems at the end due to a major sunburn. I never was really sure what the weight was. I guess if ya go with the 218 it makes me feel like I did better on maintenance!

Anyway, this is a new round and I am looking forward to losing again! I've been up since 5:30 AM (Lisa has to leave here earlier this year due to highschool). I noticed last night I was sweating all night! GROSS! I don't know if this could be a side effect of the drops or not, I don't remember having that problem last time but I know sometimes hormones can make women have night sweats. It was NOT hot in this house I can tell ya that, however I was hot all night and still am this morning! The kids are freezing and I am not turning the air up cuz I burn up if I do! Oh well they are leaving soon!

YAY SCHOOL STARTED AGAIN! hehehehe

It's cool but it sux too cuz I kinda like my kids ya know! I miss them when they are gone and it is too dang quiet here after they leave. All last week, I slept like all day, and then could not sleep at night. So, my schedule got way out of whack! Last night I went to bed b4 12 and so far have stayed up since getting up at 5:30. I hope, now that I'm back on the drops and this low cal phase, I can get back to the normal schedule I was keeping before.

OH by the way I have maintained my kitchen too and kept up with laundry all during mantenance!!! We cleaned house hard before we left for Colorado and it is not perfect by any means but for us it is pretty clean! I still have a lot of projects I need to get to so I am hoping to put my energy (when it comes back) into the house!

My energy has been crap lately. It was slowing down before we went to Co but while there I ate so poorly, I got away from my fruits n veggies and had way too many starches. That continued when we got home, not as much as while on vaca but still I was not eating as well as I should have been. I'd have 1 or 2 veggies or fruits a day instead of making that my main foods. I noticed a HUGE difference in how I felt. Mike keeps saying he misses the energetic me! Man I do too!! Let's see if round 2 does for me what round 1 did!

Anyway, I guess I should get off here. Just did my drops and have to wait 30 minutes b4 drinking, eating or smoking. That's next for me, I wanna quit smoking too, I just don't think I can do it while I am also dieting! Infact that's the only bad thing about the diet, I have started smoking more since I began the diet than I did before. I think it is my way of coping with the urges to munch, instead I'm grabbing a smoke... Not good but I'll deal with that hurdle next!

Last week of Maintenance

I know I haven't posted in weeks! I have been very busy! I went to my mom's during the 1st week of maintenance and gained a few pounds while I was there but got down to my HCG weight when I got home. I just got back from an even LONGER trip where almost EVERY meal was junk! LOTS of starches and hardly any veggies and fruits. I tell ya my body really feels it now. I got back home and had gained about 5 pounds over my last HCG weight! I am planning to buckle down this week now that we are home and we can restock our groceries with all the healthy fruits and veggies I am so needing! I am most likely going to do a round 2 starting the end of this month.

Good news, my trip to Colorado was AWESOME! I was able to hike to the top of a water fall and the main issue I had was with breathing just cuz of the thin air. I was sore as heck after we went horseback riding but I was ABLE TO DO IT!!!!!!! I cannot express how good it felt to be capable of doing things I would not have been able to do a year ago today!

Not gonna let this set back ruin all my progress. I refuse to give up. I still see myself skinny in the future and by GOD I am determined to make it happen!

Have to make this short as I need to go walk! I am sorry I haven't blogged but I have been otherwise occupied! I am still holing at around 216 which is good. Not losing anything which is also ok if I end up only maintaining the next 6 weeks then so be it! I still look and feel better than I have in years! I went out Thursday for karaoke had a few drinks which were diet friendly! Made up a drink with rum club soda and vanilla cream stevia! I have a date with Leanne tonight, unless she bails on me, but we're supposed to go to The Colony for a Happy Hour Party with some people we grew up with.

Just had an omelette with turkey sausage, red bell peppers, onion and cheese topped with picante and on the side a half an orange. Was delish! Gonna go walk around the block now!

Been out visiting people today! Felt good to be out of the house. Went through a box of stuff we got when we went to Mema's Funeral. Was a bunch of really beautiful antique serving dishes and candy dishes and stuff. Visited with my sis in law for awhile then went to my friend Jennifer's house where 2 of my 3 kids spent the night last night and visited with her till a little after 12. Got hungry and had to come on home for lunch!

Speaking of food...
Had eggs this morning,so good! I 1st grilled chopped onion and bell pepper in olive oil, till they were just starting to get browned, poured eggs scrambled with dill weed and salt n pepper over the onion and peppers and stirred it a little, let that set and flipped then sprinkled with a little bit of shredded cheese and folded it over like an omelette topped that with Pace Picante Sauce!!! OMG This was the best omelette ever! LOL on the side I had 2 sausage links and 1/2 a Fuji Apple in slices.. Very filling breakfast that's why I didn't get hungry till noon!

Lunch, was 1 can tuna fish with mayo, hamburger dill pickles, bell pepper, carrots and celery all mixed together with some onion powder, salt, pepper and ground mustard, to make a very good tuna salad. Put that on top of a bed of lettuce and on the side had 2 Melba rounds and a serving of these cheese crisps I found that are nothing but parmesan cheese. They are good to me, like having a chip or cracker but ZERO starches!!!!! HELL YEAH!! Tastes kinda like a really strong cheese nips cracker... That was the best tuna salad ever I think! That whole meal was under 400 calories too!

Gonna try to have a snack between lunch and dinner but it will be hard!

Also I plan to make meatloaf for dinner tonight!! YUM!

ummm Oh the weight thing... I was worried a bit when yesterday was up 2.2 lbs from Monday. But with my actual last day of drops weight being 218 that was fine. As long as I do not go over 218 by more than 2 lbs I am still in maintenance. HOWEVER I am still gonna see if I can get myself down to 200 before I start a real maintenance phase. Just got off the drops so I can be more relaxed while on Vacation and already be used to eating this way so my choices will just be 2nd nature by then. Once I reach 200 I will take a 6 week break to allow my body to get used to the new weight and that is supposed to help your skin catch up to your body too.. I don't wanna have the extra skin flapping on me ya know??

OH I went for a walk this morning. I bought some hand held 2 lb weights to use while walking! LOL I felt a little silly but I did it anyway! I was POWER WALKING! LOL Those 2 lbs weights really do make ya burn when ya use them! I just did some more arm work here in my living room! Just enough to feel the muscle warming up not too much don't wanna over do just wanna start toning my muscles up to prepare for hiking in the mountains! OMG I am so excited to be going to Colorado!

Well, kinda bored and lonely right now, my kids are all staying with friends for the night and Mike has gone to bed...

I did good today had yogurt with strawberries and pecans with vanilla cream stevia for breakfast, celery with cream cheese for a snack, lunch was a burger without the bun and orange slices with garlic melba rounds and dinner was a taco salad!! Was so good!!

I am thinking I'll chill out in front of the tube now and either watch a movie or play the Xbox... Have a good night!!!!
